Veet Rasera Bladeless Kit Review

I love being a woman and everything that comes along with it.  I love getting to wear beautiful dresses, doing my makeup and hair, and plus having a man take me out and paying for everything isn't a bad deal either.  However, there is something that comes along with being a woman that I am not a big fan of...

Hair removal!

Unlike men who can be all hairy and it's called rugged and handsome, women must keep their legs, underarms, and bikini line all smooth and hair-less.  For me to acheived this, I must shave every day.

I don't know about you, but the thought of shaving EVERY SINGLE DAY for the rest of my life makes me angry and annoys me.  Shaving my legs is a chore to me.  I don't like doing it but unfortunately, it's necessary.

I have been looking for products that give me some space from shaving.  Any space at all...

So I recently tried Veet Rasera Bladeless Kit.

You spread the Gel Cream on your skin for 3 Minutes.  After time is up, you take the Rasera Bladeless tool and use it just like you would a razor, removing the gel cream and hopefully some hair.  Afterwards, you rinse your legs off and you're done.  You can use this on your legs, arms, underarms, and bikini line.

I used this product on my legs, and I had some mixed feelings about it.

First of all, I liked that this product only takes 3 minutes to work.  I don't have all day so the faster something works, the happier I am.  When I applied the gel cream, I noticed it was very easy to spread around and there was no burning sensation whatsoever.  It just felt like I had regular shaving cream on my legs.

Something that I think can use some improvement was the smell!  The smell was horrible!  On the container, it says Jasmine Fragrance but all I could smell were chemicals.  It was pretty harsh and stunk up the whole bathroom (I have a pretty good sized bathroom) and into the hallway.  When using this, make sure you are well ventilated.  The smell didn't go away until probably the next day.   I noticed while I was researching it online that it now comes in new scents "Aloe Vera" and "Fresh Sensation" so hopefully those smell better.

Now for a hair removal, I think it did alright.  I would say it removed about 90% of the the hair and then shortented the other 10% almost all the way down.  My legs felt very smooth and moisturized but not completely hairless.  If that makes sense...

I was hoping the hair would stay gone for longer, but unfortunately it only lasted about 2 days.

I'm not against a hair removal cream again, but I think I will look around at the other options to see if I could find a product that lasts longer than 2 days and hopefully smells better.

I purchased this product.  All opinions are always my own.  This review is specifically on Veet Hair Removal Gel Cream not any other Veet Product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish Review

I love when my nails are painted.  I love all the colors and the endless possibillities of ways you can paint them.  Whenever I am at the store, I almost always look at the nail polishes to see if there are any new colors I like.

Recently, I have been hearing about a brand of nail polishes called Sinful Colors.  I heard there are tons of great colors, and they are only $1.99 each. So, of course I wanted to try them.

When I got to the store, I knew I had heard right.  There were TONS of different colors (way more than pictured above).  And the thing I loved most about it was there were lots of bright, bold colors that I really haven't seen too often.  I had a hard time picking which one I wanted to buy but finally I settled on Neon Melon.

It's like a yellow/green neon color...think of a school crossing road sign and you will have the color.

I wanted something really different from anything I have tried and something really fun.

While I was there, I noticed that there were some Sinful Colors Nail Polish bottles for doing nail art.  They were long skinny bottles with long, skinny brushes.  I think this is awesome because I love decorating my nails.  I usually end up pouring some of the color on a paper plate and using the back of a paint brush, so these would probably make things much easier and less messy for me.  There are only limited colors for these though.

There are however, a few things I didn't like about this nailpolish.  When I was painting my nails, I had to do about FIVE coats before I called it "good enough".  It still could have used another coat.  It also dried very matte.  I definitely wasn't used to this and I'm sure I don't like it.  I guess I'm just a shiny nail polish kind of girl.

Also, it chipped within 1 day.  And I mean chipped pretty bad.  By the end of the first day, only about half of some of my nails were covered anymore.

I'm not sure if all the nail polishes are like this...I have only tried the neon melon but if they are, I'm definitely not a fan.

The nail polish did dry VERY fast though.  I painted my thumb first and by the time I painted all the other fingers on my one hand, the nail polish on my thumb was dry.  Thumbs up for that.  As I added more coats though, it took slightly longer for each coat to dry.

For $1.99, you can't beat the price but if you are looking for something that is long lasting, I would just buy the more expensive brands.  If you are looking for something just for a night out or a special party, I would say this is great.

Sinful Colors are sold at Walgreens.

Give it a try...you might like it!

I purchased this product.  All opinions are always my own.  This review is specifically on Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Neon Melon not on any other Sinful Colors product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Degree MotionSENSE Deodorant Review

I would rather have a deodorant work too much than work too little.  That's why even though I am not an athlete, I wanted to try Degree MotionSENSE Deodorant.

This deodorant claims to have motion sensing technology that "senses" when there is increased activity and gives you more protection.  Twenty-four hours of protection to be exact.

And I do have to say, this is a very good deodorant.  It goes on clear, and I stay dry and odor-free all day.  And luckily, you don't have to be an athlete to use this deodorant.  This works very good for just everyday life.  Playing with kids, bringing groceries inside, ANYTHING!

I tried the scent, "Fresh Energy" and it smells pretty good.  It has a fairly strong scent though, like I can smell my deodorant just randomly through out the day.  I haven't decided if this is a good or bad thing yet.  On one hand, I know that the "MotionSENSE" is working.  But on the other hand, I don't necessarily want to smell like deodorant all day.  The other scents it comes in are Active Clean and Pure Cotton.

And for the people who need even MORE protection, it also comes in Clinical Strength.

I'm pretty impressed by this deodorant.  If you would like to try it, Degree Deodorant is practically sold everywhere.  Go pick some up and tell me how you like it :)

I purchased this deodorant.  All opinions are always my own.  This review is specifically on Degree MotionSENSE Deodorant not any other Degree Product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Got2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion Review

If I don't do anything to my hair after I get out of the shower, it gets all fluffy and frizzy.  I'm always searching for products to control the fluff and control the frizz.

I love this stuff!  It really works to give me soft, shiny hair without making it look greasy.  It controls the fly-aways and the fluffiness as well.  It smells great and as a little added bonus, it also helps protect against damage from heat styling and contains a UV protectant.

You can put it on wet hair after you get out of the shower or on dry hair.  I do both.  I ALWAYS put it on after I get out of the shower and if maybe it's an extra humid day, and I am getting some fly-aways I will put a little bit on and it smooths it all down.

I also love the bottle it comes in.  It's so cute and girly.

It retails for about $5.99 for a 6.8 fl. oz. bottle and you can buy it at places like Walgreens and CVS.

LOVE!

Jergens Natural Glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer Review

Being born with naturally pale skin that burns easily in the sun, I definitely envy people with tan skin.  Envy however, is overshadowed by fear of getting skin cancer from tanning beds and laying out in the sun.

The solution for my dilemma?  Bottled tanning sprays and foams, right?

Maybe...If the result is a nice, natural looking tan.  Now, if I come out looking like an Oompa Loompa or Lindsay Lohan, then I will definitely pass on that.  Orange isn't a good look for anybody...

Fortunately for everyone, tanning products have been getting better and better.  I recently tried Jergens Natural Glow Foaming Daily Moisturizer and I was pretty pleased with the results.

It comes in two varieties: "Fair to Medium" and "Medium to Tan".  I tried the Fair to Medium because like I said, Me = Pale.  This product is a foam which glides on very easily, absorbs quickly and dries very fast.  You apply it daily and it gradually creates a natural-looking tan.  I loved this stuff.  After just one application, I noticed a subtle difference and everyday that it is applied you get a little darker, reaching the full color in about one week. After you have reached the peak color, you keep applying it everyday to keep the color.

The smell isn't bad and I wasn't left feeling all sticky afterwards like I have with similar products.  And of course, with any tanning product, you have to make sure you exfoliate your skin well before you apply, especially on your knees, elbows, ankles, etc. as the tanning product will become more pigmented here if you don't.

This is for your body only. The product they have for your face is Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 20 (I will be doing a review on that soon).

My only complaint is that the bottle is kind of small and it retails for about $8.99.  If you are using it everyday, you are obviously going to go through it fast so it could get expensive. Probably less expensive than going to the tanning bed though and you don't have to worry about any health problems.

I would definitely recommend this product.

Renuzit Aroma Adjustables Long Last Air Freshener Review

One thing that makes me truly happy is to be able to walk into a room and it smell AMAZING!  I am always on a quest to achieve this.  I try all the new air fresheners...plug ins, sprays, candles, etc., etc.

One product that I have tried recently was the Renuzit Aroma Adjustables Long Last Air Freshener.

I just want to say upfront, I'm not a big fan.  But before I get into that, let me tell you the things I do like...

First off, I like that there are all kinds of great scents like Raspberry, Tropical Waters, Fresh Lavender, Citrus Burst, After the Rain, Paradise Breeze, Apple & Cinnamon, and a bunch more.  I have smelled almost all the scents and I really enjoyed them all.  They smell great!

I also like that it's small and you can put it anywhere you want to put it...no need for an outlet.

But like I said above, I'm really not a big fan.  And this is because even though this claims to be a Long Lasting Air Freshener...it's really not.

This has been my experience with them...

Day 1 - I open it up. It smells great. I can smell it when I walk into the room...Awesome!
Day 2 - The scent has faded a bit, but I can still smell it...O.K.
Day 3 - Don't really smell it anymore unless I stick my nose right up to it...Not impressed.

Renuzit Aroma Adjustable Air Fresheners are not expensive at all.  I usually find them at Walmart for around $ .98 but even thought they are cheap in price, I don't find it worth it if the scent is only going to last a few days.

If you are looking for something that is actually Long Lasting, I would recommend you try something different.

I purchased this product.  All opinions are always my own.  This review is specifically on the Renuzit Aroma Adjustables Air Fresheners, not any other Renuzit Product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner Review

I think everybody has a similar opinion on cleaning the bathroom...it sucks!

I used to have a mop bucket full of cleaning supplies just for the bathroom.  Of course you need the glass cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, tub/shower cleaner, and sink/counter cleaner. Having all those different cleaners just for one little bathroom is kind of a pain in the butt.

So when I heard about Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner, which was a cleaning product for the ENTIRE bathroom.  I knew I had to try it.

Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl is a cleaner for sinks, bathtubs, shower tiles/doors, toilet bowls, glass, chrome, faucets, and fixtures.  Having only one bottle for all of that seriously cuts down on how many different cleaners I have to buy.

But how well does it work?

I would say it works very good. It got my bathroom looking all clean and sparkly.  I do have to say though, that if you have more difficult stains, hard water, or things of this nature, you may need something stronger.

Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl had some features that really made it stand out from other cleaners for me.  First off, I really enjoyed the smell.  Some cleaners are way too harsh with their smell.  With this cleaner, the smell almost reminds me of a men's cologne. It was nice.

I also liked that it switches from spray to foam and I also like that the bottle sprays when upside down.  Nothing is more annoying then when you are trying to get in a hard to reach area and the bottle won't spray.

Overall, I really like this product and it has definitely replaced alot of my old cleaners.  Which makes that mop bucket a whole lot easier to carry around.

Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner is available for sale at places such as Walmart, K-Mart, and Target.  It retails for around $3.50.

I think it is worth a try.

I purchased this product. All opinions are always my own. This review is specifically on Soft Scrub Total Bath & Bowl Cleaner, not any other Soft Scrub Product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme Review

I have many, many pet-peeves...I hate it when toilet paper is turned the wrong way, when someone takes out the garbage and forgets to put a bag back in the garbage can, and I especially hate it when women forget to blend their foundation onto their neck.  Hey, who am I to judge...maybe orange masks are the new trend?

But one thing that gets on my nerves more than any other is when I look down at someone's feet and they are dry, rough, nasty messes. Cover that up! Nobody wants to see that!

Most people are weirded out by feet as it is...You want to add the disgusting factor to it as well?!?

Since this is my biggest pet-peeve, you know I have to make sure I never, EVER fall victim to this...and so I tried Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme.

Here's the deal.

At night, you apply this foot creme, which is enriched with a softening blend of super-saturated coconut oil and other natural emollient ingredients with a hint of peppermint, to your feet.  You put on cotton socks, then go to sleep.  In the morning, you take off your socks and Holy Cow! Your feet are super soft.

I LOVE this stuff!  I keep buying it again and again and again because it works so well.  My feet feel amazing in the morning! And it's so easy to do because all the work is being done while you are asleep.

Now, I could easily add "I cannot sleep wearing socks" to my pet-peeves list so this was kind of a little struggle for me at first but I just kind of got over it. Mind over matter, right?

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme is 99.4% Natural, Not tested on animals, and retails for about $9.

You can buy it on the Burt's Bees website or it is sold at Walgreens as well as many other places, I'm sure. (I just always buy mine at Walgreens).

Love it!!! If I already didn't mention that...

I purchased this product.  All opinions are my own.  This review is specifically on the Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme, not any other Burt's Bees Product.  Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!!!

Secret Scent Expressions Gel Deodorant Review

When it comes to deodorant, I am definitely not loyal.  I will try it all.  If it seems new, different, has a great smell, or just sparks my curiosity in any way, it will probably end up in my shopping cart.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very happy with this deodorant.  The Mystic Melon scent was alright, no nose-gasams here, but I was really disappointed that this deodorant didn't keep me fresh all day.  With other deodorants, I apply it once in the morning and I am smelling oh-so-good all day long.  With Secret Scent Expressions Gel Deodorant, I found myself reapplying it 2-3 times a day...not good in my book.

And this my be a preference thing, but I definitely don't prefer the gel deodorant.  It just feels gooey and yucky when applied and well excuse me, but if I can avoid feeling gooey and yucky, then I think my day might turn out alright. Fortunately, when I was looking on the Secret website, I saw this deodorant is also available in an invisible solid. I didn't see that at the stores...obviously.

This deodorant might be O.K. for a little girl just starting to wear deodorant or something, but for actual women, Secret Scent Expressions Gel Deodorant just doesn't pass the test.

I purchased this deodorant with my own money.  All opinions are always all my own. This review is solely on the specific product of Secret Scent Expressions Gel Deodorant, not on all Secret Brand deodorants. Have an Amazing, Awesome Day!
